How can I let SinglesUpdate know about upcoming events?

Once you subscribe to the SinglesUpdate mail list and are confirmed, you will be able to let all other subscribers know about your events simply by sending an email to SinglesUpdate@SinglesUpdate.com.

I am a SinglesUpdate subscriber and would like to post other things to members other than events, can I do that?

No, the SinglesUpdate mail list is only reserved for listing events, partites, gatherings, and other activity related functions. When you subscribed we sent each new member a welcoming message that outline our policies of the use of the mail list, know as the Terms of Service.

If you signed up by directly, by writing your email address on a sign-up sheet, then you were automatically subscribed, and may not have received the welcoming message that includes the Terms of Service. If this was the case, please refer to the Terms of Service so you will know how to use the site, as well as reading though these FAQ's.

Why do I receive emails from other people I do not know?

The other people, are subscribers to SinglesUpdate.com. As a subscriber, you have the ability to receive and share information with each other in an interactive way by using this interactive email program.

Can anybody join SinglesUpdate?

If you are single or a happily married couple, who does events together as a couple, you are welcome to join and participate with us.

I am separtated but not legally divorced, can I participate in the SinglesUpdate activities?

No, SinglesUpdate lists events put on by others, but the mission of this group is for Singles, or Couples who enjoy events together. We ask that you be legally divorced for at least one year before re-entering the Singles world. This is to allow you time to heal and allow our members to not be burdened by baggage from your recent divorce. We are deeply sorry for the circumstances that led to your divorce and our hearts go out to you. We recommend that you join a divorce recovery group or find a good counselor to help you recover from your divorce and help you adapt to your new life as a Single again. After this one year time period you are more than welcome to join our group.

How do I subscribe?

I tried to Unsubscribe, but it didn't work and I am still receiving group emails from SinglesUpdate.com, what do I do?

The SinglesUpdate-Unsubscribe feature is an automated process. If you did not type the instructions exactly the way they are shown, the automated system cannot figure out your request. Try sending the email again and look at the spelling carefully to make sure it is correct.

I have questions about some of the events listed on the news page, who do I contact to ask for specifics?

SinglesUpdate provides Web access of a newsletter we feature on our news page. The newsletter is composed by Kevin Fitzpatrick. The events he lists, also list a contact person and number for a specific event. If you have other questions regarding the newsletter, please email yeh@SinglesUpdate.com and I will forward it to Kevin directly.

Do I need to receive emails from SinglesUpdate in order to still maintain my free mail subscription?

Yes. However, if you have managed somehow to select a way to opt from receiving emails, you will be automatically dropped from the mail list. The mail list is designed to be an interactive form of communication via email with all of the subscribers, and if you opt not to receive these emails then you really aren't part of the subscriber group. The purpose of being part of the mail group is so you can both post email messages about upcoming events, as well as, receive email messages from other subscribers, as well as, receive periodic emails form SinglesUpdate.com.

Will the mail list send information only on event oriented activities?

Yes. The SinglesUpdate mail list is intended only for event-oriented news and information. The only exception to this is you may receive emails from time to time, from the SinglesUpdate moderator, currently myself, regarding new features, products, or services, that I feel you may be interested in.

We are a church and would like to be listed as a link on your Web site, what do we do?

Please email us your church name and the URL of your Web site address. Once ten members or participants of your church have joined the SinglesUpdate mail list, we will add your link to our site. We ask for at least ten subscribers from your church because we wish to represent only the churches whose members and participants comprise the SinglesUpdate mail list group.

I would like to sponsor SinglesUpdate. How can I help?

Please contact us by sending an email to info@SinglesUpdate.com and describe how you would like to help SinglesUpdate. We are grateful to all of our sponsors and we recognize our sponsors on our sponsors page.

I know of some Cool-Sites! Can you add these sites to your Web site?

If you are a commercial site and want to list your own company Web site, please contact us at info@SinglesUpdate.com and we can arrange that for you. Our rates are posted on our web-services page. Otherwise, send us your suggestion to info@SinglesUpdate.com and we will review it for possible inclusion.

I am a commercial organization and would like to advertise my event on your Web site, what do I do?

Send an email to info@SinglesUpdate.com and let us know what events you would like to advertise with us. We will respond to your email and let you know which space is available. Our adveritising rates can be found on the web-services page.
